Archers are built in a Barracks that is level 3 or higher. They are the second unit you can build from a Barracks and are the barracks counterpart to Bowmen.
Combat[]
Like Bowmen, they can deal a lot of damage should the enemy team not have a way to reach past the front line and kill them. Unfortunately, if the enemy has even a relatively small number of cavalry they can quickly decimate the entire bowmen part of an army. They are 2nd row units, meaning they will only be attacked by 2nd row reaching units or if all the front row die. Archers are very weak when put up against cavalry, or if they have no front line to defend them.
